A different scene every week.
One of the great joys for me is to recreate and photograph prototypical scenes on my model railway. Engine smoke/steam effects have been added to the photograph of the model, where appropriate. Apart from that they are true images of the model.
This week it is Battledown Flyover in the summer of 1964.
The Prototype:
A class 42 with its passenger train is about to pass under the flyover via the Waterloo to Exeter down line.
The Model:

A couple of photographers have trespassed onto the railway, as did the photographer of the prototype photo!
